осталось только разучить как писать...)) Кто у вас придумал такие сложные каракули?
MissPeach3, а что твое имя означает? Почему именно такое имя дали родители?
This is a complex question to answer. I will clear some facts of our language: Translation of foreign name: прежде всего, similarity of pronunciation. (Because no two languages share two pronunciation system точно как, I say "similar".)
Then, according to the similar Chinese pronunciation, we try to attach corresponding meaning. (That is the most difficult process, because one pronunciation always means 10 to 20 different meaning; one wirrten style of Китайские ероглифами often leads to different explanation & meaning )
например, "Ксения", its corresponding Chinese pronunciation is simlar to "/Ka Si Ni Ya/" (Generally, we read this name "卡希妮娅", according to pronunciation rules, the 4 Китайские ероглифами are like that) And, these 4 Китайские ероглифами have their respective meaning. The combination (of these meaning) leads to the result "Artemis". (почти точно как pronunciation of 卡希妮娅)
So the conclusion:
Ксения 1. sound (pronunciation) --> 卡希妮娅
2. meaning --> Artemis

The main difference between Russian & China lie in:
Russian bases its language on letters, e.g. "н", "с", ect. Under most circirmstances, only the "combination" of letters has meaning
Chinese bases its language on ероглифами (the square characters), e.g. "姜", "山", "棱", each of these characters have more than one meaning, and the combination of them produces even more. A traditional Chinese student needs 10 years to master our language.

My name "姜姗", the first part "姜" comes from my father (the first character of every Chinese name is his / her Family Name, from his / her father. ), the second part is creative, you can name it whatever you want. My parents gave a "knowlege, clever" meaning to my name, that is "姗".
