Take A Moment… First things first, before you go on reading the rest of this blog, I hope you would stop and consider and pray for the people of Japan. It’s horrific, and suffering, pain, destruction, and devastation is NOT part of God’s will. That’s nowhere in the heart of the God I know. All His children are precious in His sight, and EVERY human life has value!
Secondly, thank you so much to the Hammonites for raising money for Respite Care of San Antonio.. I will be matching this year’s amount again, only this year my donation will be going to the victims of Japan. Also, stay locked into my website for an upcoming event in which all proceeds will be going to the people of Japan affected by the tsunami/earthquake.
I’m sitting here trying to figure out what I want to write about, and my thoughts keep turning towards Japan, so I’m just gonna go with it.. Please allow me to go deep with my thoughts for a few moments…
Is it true that a picture speaks a thousand words?
Because, in a thousand words I can’t begin to capture how much pain you must be feeling. We’re oceans apart, time zones away and yet your suffering pulls at the strings of my heart-but no music is playing.
I’m sitting in silence as you’re on my heart and mind, and I imagine it would be the same if I was there holding your hand-Silent.
Lost for words my mind is racing to find adjectives as to what my soul is crying out.. out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks, yet its strangely quiet.
March 11 – I’m celebrating my 34th birthday, the day God gave me life- my special day has become your worst nightmare. A day that will never be forgotten and I want to remind you that YOU will never be forgotten.
As I’m thanking God for life, I’ll be trusting Him in death, praying peace and comfort as only a heart can. And though I can’t be there to hold your hand, I do know The Hand that holds me, will be holding you too. He never lets go.
Beyond mountains, oceans, and time.. it’s the human spirit that connects us all. We are all each other’s brothers and sisters on the journey we are all walking out on earth, and though I don’t understand the why.. I look forward to the when.. When heaven comes around and there will be no sadness, no death, no destruction, when every tear will be wiped away.
And our Father will say, “Well done! When I was hungry you fed me, when I was naked you clothed me, when I was sad you cried with me, and when I was poor you took care of me.” People of the world, when we do THIS, THIS is the heart of God.
